At Sentry Roofing & Solar, we believe our work extends beyond the roofs we install. Every project is an opportunity to strengthen the communities we call home, support organizations making a difference, and lend our expertise where it’s needed most.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with nonprofits, supported local preservation efforts, honored veterans, and contributed to causes that improve lives for community members across New Hampshire and beyond. These projects remind us that the greatest impact isn’t measured in squares of roofing. It’s measured in the people and communities we serve.
Honoring Those Who Served
Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project | 2026
One of our newest community initiatives is participation in the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project, a nationwide program created to honor veterans through safe, reliable housing. As an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, Sentry Roofing & Solar was selected to provide the labor for a roof replacement made possible through the Owens Corning Foundation and Purple Heart Homes.
Owens Corning donated the roofing materials, while our team provided the installation to help a deserving veteran’s family with the protection and peace of mind that comes with a new roof.
Since the Roof Deployment Project began in 2016, more than 700 veterans have received new roofs through this national partnership. We’re proud to play a small role in continuing that mission here in New Hampshire.
Supporting Veterans Beyond the Jobsite
Giving Back to a Local Veteran Family | 2017
Supporting veterans has long been part of Sentry’s story.
In 2017, our team donated both the materials and labor to replace the roof and siding of a local Army veteran’s home after a serious training injury changed his family’s circumstances. The project was completed entirely at no cost to the family, providing one less burden during a difficult chapter of their lives.
Community participation isn’t always measured by the size of the project. Sometimes it’s simply about showing up when neighbors need help the most.
Preserving Local History
Restoring the Dunbarton Hearse House | 2021
Communities are shaped by more than the people who live there. They’re also defined by the places that preserve their history.
When the historic Hearse House in Dunbarton needed a new metal roof, Sentry Roofing & Solar proudly donated both the materials and labor to help preserve this important local landmark. The project reflects our belief that protecting community history is another way of investing in the future.
Standing Behind Meaningful Causes
Supporting Project Purple | 2024
Our commitment to the community reaches beyond construction projects.
In 2024, Sentry proudly supported Project Purple’s New York City Marathon fundraising efforts, helping raise money for pancreatic cancer research and family assistance. We were honored to stand alongside other local businesses in support of a cause dedicated to funding research, providing hope, and helping families facing one of life’s toughest challenges.

Sometimes that story is about protecting a family’s biggest investment. Other times it’s about honoring a veteran, preserving a historic building, or supporting organizations working to improve lives every day.
